The case is made of 316L stainless steel, which is also used in medical equipment .

Also known as surgical stainless steel, it is said to be less susceptible to rust and scratches than regular stainless steel.

Sapphire glass is used for the crystal .

Compared to commonly used mineral crystal glass, it is a harder material, making it less susceptible to scratches and breakage .
